Khloe Kardashian & Trey Songz May Be Dating

by Michelle McGahan

To quote Adele, ~rumor has it~ that Khloé Kardashian and Trey Songz are now an item. According to Us Weekly, the funniest Kardashian and the "Bottoms Up" singer "are dating" after the two were spotted making out at a Vegas nightclub over the 4th of July weekend, a cozy evening that marked the third time they partied together within a week. The magazine's sources claim that "it's very new, but she's having fun," noting that "Khloé is aware" that "Trey is a major flirt," "but she thinks he's hot." From E!, the official source of all things Kardashian, an insider revealed that things are definitely flirtatious, but neither party is looking for anything serious.

"Both of them are not looking for a relationship, just some summer fun," the E! source claimed. "He thinks she is dope and a sweet woman, but he just got out of a relationship so he is not looking for anything serious. He does like how confident she is."

Still, with all this talk of Kardashian, 32, and Songz, 31 (real name: Tremaine Aldon Neverson) as an item, it's only natural to wonder how their "summer fun" began heating up in the first place. Namely, how did the two first meet?

First of all, it's important to note that Us Weekly referred to Kardashian and Songz as "longtime friends," so it's possible that the duo have secretly been BFFs, for like, evz. Back in late March, the singer appeared on an episode of Kocktails With Khloé, where things got, um, just a little bit raunchy. (Recap: Kardashian mentioned that she'd never seen a white penis IRL before; Songz was so flustered by the moment that he couldn't take it and had to laughingly walk off set.)

After the ep was filmed, the two had a fairly flirtatious Twitter exchange about the whole thing — partly to drum up promo for the show (the episode aired the night they were tweeting), but maybe to also just get their flirt on the way that we all do in this modern age of technology and Twitter:

Interestingly enough, "Mr. Steal Yo Girl" (that would be Songz) once admitted that he'd attempt to "steal" Kim Kardashian away from Kanye West if he were ever given the chance — so yeah, he definitely has a thing for Kardashian women. During an incredibly sexist game that involved the singer looking at photos of famous women with boyfriends and deciding if he "would or could steal that girl," Songz took a look at a photo of Kim K. and explained his reasoning.

"I mean, Kanye and I don't have a personal thing. I know Kanye, we're not friends like that," he said. "So given the opportunity, I would definitely take a shot. ... I think that's something that every man should take a shot at." Well.

There you have it — Trey Songz: Kardashian opportunist, possible "longtime friend" of Khloé, guy who is equal turns flirtatious but uncomfortable when the reality star talks about peen. #RelationshipGoals right there.
