Royal Baby Rumble: Should William or Harry's Style Influence Kate's Bundle of Joy?

Now that Duchess Kate is about to dress her newborn in darling little duds, it's important that we visit Royal Baby fashion of years gone by. Confession: We're doing this partly because baby pictures of the princes' outfits make us coo like anyone who's ever been lucky enough to get their hands on a cronut. But which baby prince had better style? From the looks of Baby Harry's dashing little striped number, the red-headed prince is already in the lead.

Baby Prince Harry Had Swag

Now that Duchess Kate is about to dress her newborn in darling little duds, it's important that we visit Royal Baby fashion of years gone by. Confession: We're doing this partly because baby pictures of the princes' outfits make us coo like anyone who's ever been lucky enough to get their hands on a cronut. But which baby prince had better style? From the looks of Baby Harry's dashing little striped number, the red-headed prince is already in the lead.

The Little Prince's Face Says It All

Prince William was not only dealt the heavier elements of his father's strong features, he was also a victim of his parents' infant fashion faux pas. Just take a gander at the sour grimace on that tyke's face. Royal Baby style score: Harry +1, William 0.

Smashing Summer Style

Prince William did alright when the summer months hit. Here he is in a pair of overalls (they're blue, in case you're already annoyed by the fact that this photo is in black and white) with a striped shirt. It's simple, adorable, and perfect for a little prince. One point for William!

Then again, there's something to be said for changing it up

Solid on stripes was adorable on William, but these red pinstripes on a classic white shirt make Baby Harry look as cute as a button. Sorry, William. Harry gets two points for this get-up.

The More Daring Your Formal-wear, the better

All little royals grow up eventually, and with that comes fancier duds. Sure, Harry was younger so he could get away with the bold red shorts more easily than older brother William, but now that we know them as adults, it's clear William's lack of royal flair wasn't short-lived. Point: Harry.

Bird of a Feather Wear Polos Together

But Harry still has better style. Prince William's matching it up, wearing a boring, red long-sleeved polo. It's nice, but it's pretty run-of-the-mill. Little Harry is a dashing little lad with his crisp combo of a white polo and blue sweatshirt. Kate, my dear. It looks like you've found your baby's royal style inspiration: the daring style of one (baby) Prince Harry.
