The Full 2016 VMAs Winners List

by Lia Beck

The year's craziest award show is here again. In 2015, the VMAs brought us Miley Cyrus hosting, Miley Cyrus wearing insane outfits, Kanye West announcing he would run for President of the United States, and Miley Cyrus dropping an entire new album right at the end of the show. But 2016 is perhaps even more exciting. We've got a performance from Britney Spears, Rihanna's Video Vanguard set, and yet another appearance from West. But as exciting as all of the performances and unexpected moments are, this is an award show, so the 2016 VMAs winners list is pretty important, too.

This year, Beyoncé lead the noms with a total of 11 videos all from her visual album, Lemonade. In fact, Lemonade as a whole is up for the inaugural Breakthrough Long Form Video award. Second to Beyoncé, (in nominations, not in talent) is Adele with eight nominations, mostly for her video for "Hello."

The other nominations include many songs you've probably been hearing constantly all year like Calvin Harris and Rihanna's "This Is What You Came For," Drake's "Hotline Bling," and Rihanna's "Work." Then there's this year's most scandalous video nominee, "Famous" by Kanye West."

So, did you favorites come out on top? Check out our full list of winners and see. (Winners will be bolded as awards are announced.)
