Lacey Chabert's Baby Can Learn From 'Mean Girls'

by Michelle McGahan

"And one for Gretchen Weiners, bye!" I couldn't resist the well-timed Mean Girls reference on this, the day of Lacey Chabert's baby announcement. Congratulations are in order for Chabert, who welcomed a baby girl with husband Dave Nehdar last week, the actor announced on Instagram on Thursday. In the announcement, Chabert shared a photo of her little one — her first! — along with a heartfelt caption celebrating her entry into the world.

"And then my soul saw you and it kind of went, 'Oh, there you are. I've been looking for you.' #TBT to the best day of my life," Chabert wrote about the sweet photo of her daughter wrapped in a blanket. "One week ago I became a mom to this precious angel. Julia Mimi Bella. Julia, you are my heart's deepest dream come true. I love you more than I could ever say. Welcome to this big beautiful world sweet girl!"

While there are a million lessons that new mom Chabert and dad Nehdar will undoubtedly teach their little girl — everything from tying her shoes to how to be a good person and a decent human being — perhaps some of the most inspirational can be found in Chabert's most famous film, Mean Girls. After all, everyone needs a few inspirational speeches from Tina Fey, don't they?

Never Stop Reaching For Your Dreams

Ignore The Haters

Stay true to yourself and listen to Kevin Gnapoor, Badass MC.

Let Your Mom Embarrass You Once In A While

It's her job, after all.

And Most Importantly, Look Both Ways Before You Cross The Street

Welcome to the world, Gretchen Weiners, Jr.!
