Kerry Washington's 2016 Emmys Look Is So Majestic

Kerry Washington is serving us a lewk on Sunday night —even more so than Olivia Pope does on a regular basis. Kerry Washington's 2016 Emmys look is possibly the most majestic we've seen her yet: An all-black dress complete with cutouts and a dramatic cape. I don't think we've ever seen a superhero quite this chic before. The best part of it all, though? Her baby bump.

It's no surprise that her 2016 Emmys ensemble is absolutely incredible — Washington pretty much slays every red carpet look she attempts. From floral gowns, to her pink Prada Met Gala 2015 look, to her all-white drop waist look at 2015 Oscars, there's no silhouette, color, and style she doesn't take to the next level.

It's also pretty amusing that in addition to being super stylish in her own life, her Scandal character's wardrobe is eye candy on its own. How can one person look so chic while saving the PR disasters of the world? Cape jackets, the most classic trench coats, a shoe collection to die for, and all the structured blazers we could want: When it comes to style, Pope/Washington have it down.

Tonight, though, was on another level. Washington stepped onto the red carpet looking like an absolute dream. Classic, chic, and sexy, her dress was everything and more. With her natural hair flowing and face looking dewy and fresh, she's instantly one of my favorite looks of the evening.

Washington effortlessly walked the red carpet with confidence and grace. Tonight, she's is up for Best Actress in a Limited Series or a Television Movie for her role in Confirmation. Whether she takes the Emmy home tonight or not, she's already won my heart thanks to this perfect red carpet moment.
