Billy Bush Is Now Part Of The Latest Trump Scandal

by Charlie Beckerman

News emerged Friday of a recorded conversation between Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and former Access Hollywood host Billy Bush, wherein the GOP candidate talks about kissing, groping, and trying to have sex with women using crude language.

The conversation was recorded on a hot mic aboard an Access Hollywood bus during a taping of an episode of the entertainment news show, which was following Trump during his cameo appearance on the soap opera, Days of Our Lives.

The conversation with Bush included Trump discussing his attempts to sleep with a married woman. “I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it,” Trump says in the video obtained by the Washington Post. “I did try and f--k her. She was married.”

Trump went on to say, “She wanted to get some furniture, I said, ‘I’ll show you where there’s some nice furniture.” He adds, “I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there, and she was married.”

Bush, who hosted Access Hollywood from 2004 and its spin-off, Access Hollywood Live, from 2010, can be heard egging Trump on in the video. When they spot Days actress Arianne Zucker, who accompanies Trump onto the set of the soap opera, Bush can be heard saying, “Sheesh, your girl is hot as as shit.”

“Yes! The Donald has scored!” Bush goes on to say.

Trump then jokingly eats a breath mint, “just in case I start kissing her. ... When you’re a star they’ll let you do it. You can do anything; grab them by the p---y, you can do anything.”

Bush can be heard laughing in the background.

The video comes at a time when both men are occupying relatively recent new roles: Trump as a politician, and Bush as a newly-minted member of NBC’s Today. Their TMZ-esque antics captured in the video cast both men in pretty appalling light, though one might surmise that the presidential candidate has more to lose than the TV show host.

On the other hand, in this bizarro election, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see the more vulgar Trump triumph, and the less obscene (though plenty objectionable) Bush get s--t-canned.
