Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have had a big year — they got engaged, filmed a reality show, and they’re having a baby girl! Rob & Chyna has documented their love and struggles leading up to the birth of their daughter, but newly reported fights and feuds suggest that the show may not live for much longer. Will Rob & Chyna return for Season 2?
When Rob and Chyna announced their engagement, all I could think was, “Ooh, this could get messy.” I’m happy for any two people who figure out that they want to spend the rest of their lives together, but this engagement in particular is complicated. You see, Rob’s sister, Kylie, is dating the rapper Tyga, and Tyga and Blac Chyna were engaged and have a son, King Cairo, together. Don’t even try to hurt your head and figure out the relationships if everyone here gets married — I’ve tried it and I advise against it. Anyway, Blac Chyna and Rob’s relationship did cause some waves in the Kardashian clan. Then things got better, and wow, did things get worse. A few weeks back, Rob tweeted Kylie’s real phone number out (seriously) in retaliation for his family allegedly not inviting Chyna to the baby shower they were throwing for Rob. Yes, I do realize that said child they’re celebrating is currently living inside Chyna. A rep for the Kardashian-Jenner family did not respond to Bustle's request for comment on the matter.
To further complicate things, TMZ reported that Rob & Chyna had allegedly broken up months ago. Rob denied that, posting more pics of the pair together and telling Ryan Seacrest, "We’ve been together the whole time, so I can’t stand when people run stories like that." He did admit, however, that it's been “a bumpy road, but a great road." Does your head hurt? My head hurts.
Recently, E! Online reported that Rob & Chyna were seen just last week having a grand old time at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights and at a petting zoo feeding llamas with Chyna’s son, King. I mean, can Rob and Chyna just live? There’s no official word yet on a second season of Rob & Chyna, but I doubt that E! would pass on it if Rob and Blac Chyna were still on board, and my guess is that it would air next summer, as Season 1 started in summer, too. Blac Chyna revealed their baby’s due date on Snapchat — it’s November 16, if you were wondering, making baby girl a Scorpio — and there is ample time to film that kid’s birth. If you think that there is a Kardashian on television that wouldn’t film his or her baby’s birth, you have another thing coming. And, following that, there could be a Rob & Chyna wedding special, too. Imagine the possibilities!
Now, that’s assuming that Rob and Black Chyna want to do all of that. We’ve seen Rob’s sisters get hitched on television, but that may not be Rob’s flavor, nor may he and Blac Chyna be ready for it. Getting engaged and having a baby can be a stressful time for couples — there are a lot of changes happening, and coupled with Rob’s quest to get healthy and Blac Chyna trying to assimilate into the Kardashian clan, it can’t be easy. A second season of Rob & Chyna would krush it (had to, sorry), but it has to be something that’s right for the couple. I think that Rob and Blac Chyna are truly in it for the long haul, but we’ll have to wait and see if that includes more of their television show.
