Taylor Vs. Super Creepy Stalker Guy Part II

by Lia Beck

Hey everyone, remember in early March when Taylor Swift got a temporary restraining order against that creepy stalker guy who threatened her family and John Kerry? (If this sounds totally crazy... um, it is, but I'll explain below.) Well, now Taylor Swift has obtained a three-year restraining order against him and I'm like, that's still not long enough! Taylor Swift has a psycho stalker that sends her weird emails and claims to be her husband, she should have a lifetime restraining order against him! Is that a thing? A lifetime restraining order? It should be! And this case is exactly the reason why.

For those of you not in the know, Swift obtained a temporary restraining order against Timothy Sweet on March 4 after she submitted documents to the Los Angeles Supreme Court. Sweet reportedly sent Swift messages on social media and through email as far back as 2011. Alleged messages from Sweet include, "My wife, Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I live in Beverly Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life.” And then there was the one that brought John Kerry into this: “Dearest Taylor, I’ll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage. Message to John Kerry, Secretary of State. Message from YOUR Presidential Candidate.”

This guy is scary and also threatened Swift's family which is why her parents, Andrea and Scott are also included in the restraining order. According to reports, Sweet is ordered to stay 100 yards away from Swifts and her parents for the next three years.

Taylor Swift is NEVER (never ever ever) going to want to come into contact with this man, so shouldn't he be sentenced to a longer restraining order? He's already been at this for three-years, so he can probably hang on for three more. Plus, he's obviously crazy. He could be writing up more messages right now.

Anyway, on that positive note, here's hoping Sweet leaves Swift alone for good. This is a very scary situation and hopefully one that Swift will no longer has to deal with.
