Being that fall is probably my favorite season (although it's in constantly in a heated battle with spring for first place), I can't help but get overly excited about the makeup that comes with it. With rich, deep hues and luscious pigmentation, popping fall lip colors are especially clutch for women of color.
If you're as much of a makeup hoarder as I am, you might have anywhere from three to 3,000 different lip products in different shades. Don't get me wrong, I'm always psyched to wear my first swipe of orange or bright pink once the summer hits, but there's just something about the crunch of leaves, and the smell of the first PSL that really gets my adrenaline pumping for fall makeup—not to mention the fact that it encourages my purse springs to loosen a bit. Berries, plums, reds, and browns bring all the fall feels, and paired with a WOC's varying brown skin tones, these fall colors offer a better compliment than any fashion accessory ever could.
Check out seven fall lip colors in particular that are probably sweeter than that PSL you're dreaming about from Starbucks. Let the autumn leaves fall all around your gorgeous, perfectly-pouted face.
