Bella Hadid Might Be Getting Her Wings

Victoria's Secret is known for casting high fashion It models, like Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss in years past, to walk alongside its troupe of angels for its annual runway show. This year, they have cast Bella Hadid to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, because if you're going for star power, Bella is definitely your girl.

On Tuesday, Hadid's makeup artist Vincent Oquendo accidentally revealed that Hadid will be walking in this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show when he shared a snap of the model in her underwear with a pair of camo pants around her ankles — the same camo pants that Bella was seen wearing earlier that day as she left Victoria's Secret's headquarters — saying that he was so proud of her for "getting Victoria's Secret," which one can only assume means the Victoria's Secret Fashion show.

It didn't take long to confirm the news! On Wednesday night, Victoria's Secret confirmed via Twitter that Bella will be walking in this year's fashion show, sharing a video of the model nervously talking about her audition.

Bella has quickly risen among the modeling ranks over the past year, landing coveted magazine editorials and top spots in top fashion shows, not to mention she has just generally caught the world's attention, not as Gigi's younger sister, but as the ultimate cool girl. Just take a look at her Instagram.

Hadid isn't what you would consider the "typical" Victoria's Secret model, as she definitely opts for an edgier look, however, you really can't turn down a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity like the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, especially since it will be in Paris this year.

Last year, Bella's older sis Gigi Hadid made her Victoria's Secret Fashion Show debut after reportedly trying out for several years in a row (and conveniently made the cut once she blew up on the modeling scene... I'm sure that wasn't a coincidence). But it might be safe to say that people are even more excited to see Bella Hadid walk the runway.

Because I am definitely more excited to watch this year now that I know Bella will be walking.

I wonder if The Weeknd will perform at this year's show now that his girlfriend will be walking in it? Because that will probably be too much for me to handle.
