It's been rumored since the summer that Demi Lovato is allegedly dating UFC fighter Luke Rockhold, but the relationship hasn't been confirmed by either the singer or the mixed martial arts athlete. So if you're asking yourself, "Who is Luke Rockhold?" now is the time to find out, because the rumored couple has made their first public appearance together, according to People. On Nov. 12, Lovato and Rochold held hands while watching Conor McGregor defeat Eddie Alvarez for the UFC lightweight title in UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden, according to People. That's right — a full on hand-hold.

People reported in August that the duo met through friends and he attended her concert in Anaheim. So who is the guy spending time with a beloved member of Disney Channel royalty? According to the UFC website, Luke Rockhold grew up in Santa Cruz, Calif., and comes from an athletic family — his father played professional basketball in Europe and his older brother is a professional surfer. He surfed and skateboarded, but he told the Sacramento Examiner in an interview that he "grew up wanting to do MMA...I always the young kid who got into fights, especially with my older brothers. I took Judo for a few years from 6 to 10 years old. I wrestled all through high school. I got good at jiu-jitsu after high school."

He made his MMA debut in 2007 with a win against Mike Martinez for the Melee on the Mountain promotion, according to Sherdog. The former UFC Middleweight Champion has held that title as well as a few others in his nine-year career.

But Rockhold is also accomplished outside of UFC fighting. according to an interview with BJPenn.com — the champion fighter is also a model. He's represented by Soul Artist Management, the agency that discovered Channing Tatum, according to the company website. In a radio interview with the MMA Hour, Rockhold said he's embracing the chance to pursue new opportunities. "I’m not gonna go out there and put my body through [fighting] when I can also get paid [for modeling]," he said. "I beat my body down during training and fighting, and my opportunities have grown recently, so I’m dabbling with that.”

It looks like Demi Lovato's hooked herself a champion fighter, model, and a man who knows what he wants.
