6 Beautiful Copies Of 'Alice In Wonderland'

by Julia Seales

I have been obsessed with Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland since I was young. I memorized the poems from the book as a child. I watched my Disney VHS of Alice in Wonderland until it was practically worn out. And I loved reading Alice in Wonderland-inspired books whenever possible. Though I adored the book, I never owned a truly beautiful copy of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Though the contents were wonderful, my paperback quickly became worn, and the cover didn’t do justice to the amazing story within.

One of the great things about shopping for books now is that there are many beautiful editions of childhood classics available. Though I’ll always treasure my original paperbacks, I like restocking my shelf with classics that reflect on the outside how wonderful the books are on the inside. Alice in Wonderland is a particularly beautiful book, and it just so happens that there are a variety of lovely copies to choose from, many of which also include lovely illustrations that further enhance the magic of the story. The only difficult thing is deciding which one you want — the choice is enough to drive anyone mad, but you know, we’re all mad here.
