Keke Palmer Rocked A '90s Trend At The AMAs

by Kali Borovic

The last major awards show of the year is finally here, and the celebrities aren't holding back when it comes to the fashion. Combining modern and throwback trends, Keke Palmer wore a mesh two-piece to the American Music Awards. Between her edgy style and '90s-inspired accessories, this is one outfit you have to see for yourself.

Palmer might have been one of the first to hit the red carpet, but her outfit definitely won't be forgotten. The singer rocked a fuzzy pink jacket, rosy sunglasses, and a grey, mesh two-piece for the big night. The crop top and slitted mini skirt was something completely different than she's worn before. She might not have been nominated for any awards, but that didn't hold her back from rocking a serious statement ensemble.

It's not every day that a head-to-toe outfit looks just as good without accessories as it does with them either. With just a few subtle changes, she took the look from '90s trend to something completely modern. As great as the Scream Queens-esque jacket was, the style looked just as gorgeous without it. San pink accessories, the almost see through two-piece looked even more edgy. Not to mention the layered choker that matched the look perfectly.

If this doesn't scream '90s, then I don't know what does. Look at how great the outfit looked without the accessories as well.

The razor-back cute mixed with the slitted skirt brings a street-style feel to the look.

This is a great way to start the night, if you ask me!
