Miley Cyrus has been basically everywhere for the past year or so, tongue out and all. And she isn't going away any time soon; you'll be seeing Miley on the cover of this May's Elle, headlining the magazine's "women in music" issue. The "Bangerz" star announced the cover via Twitter over the weekend, and no one is really that surprised.
Cyrus has already appeared on her fair share of magazines. She was on the front of Cosmopolitan just last March, and with the magazine selling 1.1 million newsstand copies that month, it's safe to say the cover went over pretty well.
For the Elle cover, Cyrus is wearing head-to-toe Marc Jacobs, a choice that makes sense given the singer's strong connection with the designer. The matching, beaded top and pants set complement Cyrus' bleach blonde hair, and the simple, gray background of the cover makes for a softer look on the usually uber edgy singer.
And given that the ensemble cost about $13,400 (we're not kidding), Miley better look good.
Elle isn't the only magazine you'll see Miley on next month, either. She'll also be on the May cover of Seventeen, but according to reports, Cyrus never approved it and, well, didn't really want anything to do with it to begin with. Seventeen will reportedly use stock photos of the pop singer.
What's Miley Cyrus without a bit of controversy?
