by Lia Beck

After the shocking death of Peaches Geldof on Monday, more information is coming out about the cause as her family continues to share messages of mourning with the public. News of Geldof's death left many people wondering how this tragic event could have happened. Geldof, a model, British socialite, and TV personality, was only 25 and while she was known for being a party girl in the past, she had put those times behind her to be a mother to her two young children, Astala, nearly 2, and Phaedra, 11 months. According to new reports, investigating officers found "no evidence of hard drugs, no visible signs of injury and no suicide note." A spokesperson for the Kent Police added, "The death is being treated as a non-suspicious, but unexplained, sudden death. The local coroner has been informed and a post-mortem is expected to be carried out in the next few days."

Geldof's father, Bob Geldof, released a statement on Monday following the public release of the news. He wrote, "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?"

Now, Geldof's husband, Thomas Cohen, and her older sister, Fifi Geldof, have also shared messages of their mourning. Cohen released a statement saying, "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day. We shall love her forever. Thomas, Astala and Phaedra Geldof-Cohen." Meanwhile, Fifi posted of photo of herself and her sister on Instagram along with the caption, "My beautiful baby sister... Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches x."
