Moss Doesn't Like This Part Of Her Body

by Erin Mayer

We'd be hard-pressed to find a physical flaw on the waif goddess that is Kate Moss. The supermodel, however, disagrees, because apparently Kate Moss has bow legs. And she's self-conscious about them.

According to the Telegraph, Moss steers clear of mid-length skirts to avoid drawing attention to her lower legs:

"Asked for her tips on party dressing, Moss was self-deprecating, pointing out her oft-maligned 'bow legs'. 'No rules, apart from heels, and I never do mid-calf. I've got bow legs. I can't.'"

The model, who is currently promoting her first collection for Topshop since 2010, has made headlines for many things during her time in the spotlight: cocaine addiction, Pete Doherty, "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels." Bow legs are not really one of those things. While we appreciate that Kate Moss has her personal fashion 'dos and 'don'ts and knows which cuts flatter her best, to call her legs "oft-maligned" seems, well, a bit of a stretch.

I'm sure Kate Moss is self-conscious about her "bow legs." She's only human, and we all pick ourselves apart with a much more critical eye than we use when looking at others. However, Kate Moss is also fashion royalty who has been publicly lauded for her appearance since she was fourteen years old. Saying she has egregious bow legs that must be disguised is just absurd.

See? I rest my case.

We may not be sold on Kate Moss's bow legged claims, but we are excited to snag her new Topshop wares this spring!
