Her Funeral Will Be Easter Monday

by Mallory Schlossberg

It will mark two weeks since the tragic passing, but Peaches Geldof's funeral will be held on Easter Monday, April 21. Her funeral will take place at the St. Mary Magdalene and St. Lawrence Church in Davington, which is the same church where her mother, Paul Yates, was laid to rest in 2000 when she, too, tragically passed away at too young of an age. The funeral will be private; only friends and family will attend.

The model, socialite, TV personality, fashion icon, and writer was only 25 years old when she passed away on Monday, April 7. The cause of her sudden and unexpected death remains unexplained, as the results of her autopsy were inconclusive. The results of a toxicology report should arrive in a week or so, which could potentially determine the cause of her death, which police are citing as non-suspicious and unexplained for now.

Geldof leaves behind her husband, Tom Cohen, and their two children, Astala Dylan Willow and Phaedra Bloom Forever. All three will likely be in attendance at the funeral.

Cohen, whom Geldof married in the same church where she will be laid to rest, has said in a statement:

My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons [...] I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever.
