Italy's Cops Will Soon Be Driving These

The police force in one European country is spicing up their law enforcement crew with an upgrade of their police forces' rides: Now, Italy's cops will pull drivers over in their light blue Lamborghinis. Painted in a light blue color with white stripes and lettering, this luxury car is even dressed for the occasion. The civilian model of the car goes for $300,000, and the new police car will begin service by the end of the year, according to CNBC. The new wheels are supposed to "sustain security on Italian roads by continuing accident and crime prevention," according to — you guessed it — Italian police.

And with this lascivious upgrade, the Italian police force is joining the ranks of these action-packed movies starring Lamborghinis...

1. Cannonball Run

This 1981 film features an older Lamborghini... which doesn't quite look like the new Italian ones, but it's most definitely in the same family of classiness.

2. Fast and the Furious 6

Yup, no one watched the sixth installment of the Fast and Furious series, but maybe we all should — especially if you're in Italy. There is a Lamborghini in it!

3. Redline

More cars. More speed. Exactly what the Italian police are going for, if you ask me.

4. The Dark Knight

Yes, we do need another reason to love this movie.
