Madewell is known for it's simple, classic pieces that are always just the right amount of trendy to be a favorite of all those super cool girls who are always wearing boyfriend jeans and drinking lattes. You know, the kind on Instagram who wear and actually look good in hats all the time. Those girls. Cool kid-approved Madewell has just released its lookbook for Fall 2014 and yes, I am pretty excited about it.
With a mix of graphic T-shirts, beanies, leather midi skirts, slouchy pants, and super interesting coats, there's something for just about everyone in the new fall collection. It's true — none of us really want to even think about the weather getting cold enough again to pile on the coats and scarves. However, Madewell's autumnal combination of pieces screams, "Oh, hello, I just wore this casual layering of flannel, leather, a plaid scarf, and a wide-brimmed hat to pick up some organic muffins and I still look better than you. Goodbye." Or something like that.
Never thought of pairing some gray sweatpants with a two-toned camel winter coat? Well, think again, guys. Because Madewell makes that combo look really cool in the lookbook. And any outfit that includes a fancy interpretation of sweatpants immediately has captured my attention. Easily transition from watching Real Housewives of Atlanta on the couch to a stylish, Instagram-able brunch? Don't mind if I do, Madewell.
