After hitting a rough patch over the last few months, Glee's Naya Rivera appears to be doing some spring cleaning, starting by deleting her Twitter account. Celebs disown their Twitter feeds for a variety of reasons. Perhaps they have much more to say than the 140 characters allow, or maybe they grow tired of nasty exchanges with Internet strangers. Rivera is still on Instagram, and has yet to offer up an explanation for her missing tweets, but she certainly isn't the only celeb to delete her Twitter. Maybe it's temporary and she'll make a return to the twittersphere, like these 10 other celebrities who silenced their tweets.
Nicki Minaj
They say the ones who love you hurt you the most, which is precisely what prompted Nicki Minaj to delete her Twitter in 2012. Her legion of Barbz landed on the list of people who have betrayed Nicki Minaj after a fan site leaked her album.
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus reportedly complied with then-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth’s demands to delete her Twitter in 2009 and again in 2012. Good thing she’s back on because there’s no way we would’ve known she couldn’t smoke weed during her recent hospital stay.
