Tracy Morgan Has Been Moved to a Rehab Center

by Rachel Semigran

There is more good news surrounding the well-being of actor and comedian Tracy Morgan. Morgan has just been transferred from the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital ICU to an off-site rehab center. On Tuesday, Morgan was stated to be in "fair condition" by his representatives, which was a vast improvement from the critical condition he was first diagnosed. His publicist Lewis Kay said in a statement:

Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks...While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go. He and Megan wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him.

Though the full details of Morgan's status have yet to be released, it is a relief to know that he has been improving since the accident. The accident, which was reportedly due to an over-exhausted truck driver occurred when Morgan's limo bus was struck in the rear by the driver's Walmart truck. As Morgan's health continues to get better, we can only hope he and the other victims have full recoveries.
