Can Kendra & Hank Save Their Troubled Marriage?

According to reports, the dreaded reality TV curse with a nasty reputation for pulling the rug from under the feet of unsuspecting celebrity couples has its sights set on Kendra Wilkinson and her husband Hank Baskett. US Weekly reports that Wilkinson initially dismissed claims that Baskett cheated on her with a transgender YouTube model. But apparently the tides turned after the Kendra on Top star reportedly found evidence to support the allegations of her husband's infidelity, which supposedly took place when she was eight months pregnant with the couple's 5-week-old daughter Alijah. In a fit of rage, a source claims Wilkinson reacted by flushing her wedding ring down the toilet and tossing the couple's wedding photos in the pool.

Even though a cheating scandal of this magnitude feels like it couldn't get any worse, Wilkinson and Baskett's marriage has weathered its fair share of storms, thanks in part to their tendency to face struggles head on. Hopefully that pattern will be enough to help them through this ordeal.

To be fair, there were multiple reasons why people their "opposites attract" relationship seemed like it was doomed from the start, beginning with their conflicting backgrounds (she's a former Playboy model, he's an ex-NFL player with conservative roots), but they've managed to overcome and accept one another's differences, marry, navigate two reality shows, and have children all while managing careers that keep them in the public eye. In fact, the couple started dating while Wilkinson was still living with her ex Hugh Hefner, and eventually held their wedding at the Playboy Mansion.

After they exchanged vows, they faced other obstacles like the end of Baskett's NFL career and another situation that reportedly posed a threat to their marriage- Wilkinson's alleged attempts to sell her sex tapes

But throughout their 5-year marriage, they've managed to successfully merge Kendra's wild-child nature and struggles to balance her sexuality with motherhood with Hank's considerably more settled personality.

This is arguably the biggest hurdle the couple has faced, at least as far as we know, but if the way they dealt with past issues is any indication of how they will handle Baskett's alleged indiscretions, it's enough reason to hope that they can work through this unfortunate situation in the same manner.
