Though Lea Michele adores an ensemble with extra sparkle, occasionally the starlet choose an outfit that channels Grace Kelly rather than Dolly Parton. And Ms. Michele did just that for an appearance at the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy when she chose an ensemble that would have made Elizabeth Taylor proud…sans the skating rink diamonds, of course.

Michele's red carpet ensemble consisted of a '50s-inspired v-neck dress with a flared skirt, and a pair of adorable d'Orsay pumps to match. Rather than detract from her ensemble with piles of borrowed jewelry, Michele kept it modern with golden stud earrings and an understated ring, polishing off the look with a sleek ponytail and a deeply smudged green smoky eye. And of course, with a dress like this, Michele's artistic tattoos were on display for all to see, giving the look extra street appeal. Amidst a sea of backless, frontless, and side-less dresses on the red carpet, the Glee actress's outfit looked effortlessly elegant, and most importantly, achievable. Read on for the four pieces you'll need to look just as timeless as Lea Michele. Who knows? Perhaps you'll be inspired enough to sing about it.

1. BLACK FLARED DRESS

The key to Lea Michele's vintage-inspired look is a beautifully cut dress to enhance every curve. Try Carven's Woven Cotton Dress for a look that's subtly sultry and ladylike.

2. D'ORSAY PUMPS

A polished pair of black d'Orsay pumps will give your look lift and extra appeal. Salvatore Ferragamo's Patent Leather D'Orsay Pumps are a classic style rendered in trendy pattern leather for a modern look.

3. TRIANGLE STUD EARRINGS

Lea Michele added a touch of glitz to her ensemble with golden stud earrings. Jacquie Aiche's JA Deco Arrow Stud Earrings will give any look an extra ounce of glamour with their Art Deco style

4. JADE EYESHADOW

Instead of attempting a stereotypical smokey eye, Lea Michele added a pop of jade shadow to play up her peepers. Guerlain's Ecrin 2 Couleurs Eyeshadow In Two Rock provides a similarly delicate look with just enough edge.
