If you were to ask me what a "lob" was six months ago, I would have had zero idea what you were talking about. Now? The long bob (hence, "lob") is the most perfect, trendiest summer haircut and the source of many, many hours of personal Pinterest-ing. As a long hair gal myself, the idea of chopping my locks is pretty terrifying; I would say that roughly 25 percent of my hair appointments in the past have ended in tears (on my end, not the hair dresser's). But something about seeing Kate Mara and Emma Stone rock the lob has made me want to go bravely where I never have before.
