The New Crave Vibrator Doubles as a Necklace, Because We Really Need to Be Wearing Our Sex Toys

Necklaces come in all shapes and sizes, but here's a new one: Lifestyle company Crave has created a vibrator necklace so you can discreetly carry your favorite sex toy around your neck at all times. You never know when you might have an, um, emergency.

According to TechCrunch, "Crave, which was founded by industrial designer Ti Chang and entrepreneur Michael Topolovac, seeks to make sex toys that are discreet without being apologetic." Their toys also have have multiple uses, like the Duet, which is a USB-chargeable vibrator/thumb drive. Crave's latest product is called the Vesper and is "a small vibrator that also doubles as a pendant, for those of you who get a thrill from wearing your sex toys."

Except the Vesper doesn't really look like a pendant. It looks like a slim, stylish vibrator made of stainless steel that you are wearing around your neck. That's fine, if that's your thing. I'm sure Christian Grey would love it. However, maybe don't wear it to Christmas dinner at your grandmother's house.

Wearability of the Vesper aside, I am very down with Crave's mission statement. According to the company:

We embrace the idea that sex is healthy, wholesome and playful, and that it provides vital sparks to everyday life. We know people crave a variety of sexual experiences and that there should be no judgment, stigma, or shame about that desire. To that end, it has always been our goal to elevate the idea of sex toys for women through beautiful and well-considered design.

Vesper probably won't be your new wear-anywhere statement necklace, but I'm sure this sexy accessory could serve you well on certain ... occasions. And, as far as vibrators go, it's leagues ahead of the clunky styles that dominate the market. Want to snag a Vesper of your very own? You can pre-order them here, with prices starting at a very sensible $49.
