Jillian Michaels Activewear is Coming

Let's get physical, physical! I wanna get physical... with Jillian Michael's new activewear line IMPACT. The range will be released by Kmart, so it's bound to be as affordable as it is likely to kick your ass into shape. If any workout gear can motivate you to do 100 more crunches, it's workout gear designed by Jillian Michaels.

The collection, available in 500 Kmart stores starting August 17th, is cute and sporty and, according to WWD, features the appropriate bells and whistles: "wicking, stretch, reflective details, and warming and cooling properties." Neither the press release nor the WWD article indicate whether or not the clothing comes with a pre-recorded tape of Michaels yelling, "Unless you faint, die, or puke, keep working!"

Jillian Michaels is one of the most popular fitness personalities there is, having made a name for herself as a trainer, author, and a judge on The Biggest Loser. A Michaels-helmed workout line is an inevitable next-step for her brand, and for Kmart, which currently offers a very limited selection of activewear. Diane Vaccaro, chief marketing officer of Kmart Apparel, said in the press release:

We are thrilled to collaborate with Jillian, one of the foremost authorities in wellness and fitness. Jillian has infused her personal style and enthusiasm for empowering women into the collection, allowing us to offer true performance and style at an affordable price. We believe her engagement across our Shop Your Way platform will resonate authentically with our members.

There are sweatshirts, sports bras, leggings, shorts, and a very nice silver workout bag, among other accessories and essentials. Prices are extremely reasonable, ranging from $10.99 and $39.99 (suck it, Lululemon and your $100 yoga pants).

If your exercise wardrobe needs an upgrade, IMPACT by Jillian Michaels is clearly the key. I have only one more question:
