Larry David, All Anyone Cares About is 'Curb'

by Tanya Ghahremani

Larry David, when will you learn? No one cared about Clear History, and no one cares about your new Broadway play Fish In the Dark — can you just cut the bullshit and write a new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, like you literally just said last month you want to do ? WHY MUST YOU TORTURE US, LARRY DAVID?!

OK, maybe they care a little about Fish In the Dark . I personally can and will admit that it sounds at least intriguing — Larry David on Broadway in a production that isn't The Producers is an interesting thought, and the plot, which is basically about "somebody very similar to Larry David – it might even be Larry David with a different name" sounds enough like Curb to alleviate some of the pain we all feel from waiting for season 9 of the show. Also, Anna D. Shapiro will co-star, and it'll open on Broadway in 2015 with Scott Rudin producing. All sounds good!

But man, come on, Larry — it's been nearly three whole years since the season 8 finale of the show that saw Curb's Larry heading to Paris for an undisclosed amount of time, at least just give us an HBO special or something. Anything!
