Michelle Obama To Release Rap Album

by Lane Florsheim

Michelle Obama, further cementing her reputation as history's coolest first lady, is set to release a rap album. She will not be providing vocals for the Let's Move! inspired album, but she has recruited some big names like Jordin Sparks, Ashanti, Run DMC, Monifah, and Doug E. Fresh.

In true gangsta fashion, the album is called, um, "Songs For A Healthy America." The Washington Examiner has published the complete track list. New York City schools will get first access to the album, and will hear the likes of Matisyahu and Travis Barker going in on tracks such as "U R What You Eat" before other major cities. Another song called "Everybody" features Dr. Oz, who learned to rap from none other than Doug E. Fresh himself.

Though she won't be rapping, Mrs. Obama will be featured in cameos in the ten music videos that will be distributed with the album, a job for which she is very qualified.
