Have you ever met someone who's obsessed with Disney? Not just "Oh, yeah, The Little Mermaid was my favorite movie growing up," or "I went to Magic Kingdom last year, and it was pretty fun," but full on, crazy-eyes obsessed? Well, have we got some fashion news for them!
Disney and Harrods will be auctioning of ten Princess-inspired dresses. The dresses are produced by high-end designers, including Oscar de la Renta, Elie Saab, and Versace, and look exactly like the kind of thing that someone who can recite every single line "Be Our Guest" would wear grocery shopping. Admittedly, all of the dresses are works of art, and it is interesting to see a high-fashion approach given to outfits we are all used to seeing in cartoon form. But are they wearable? Not so much.
The dresses will be sold in November at Christie's, and will raise money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity. Photos are available over at Vogue.
