How Many Emmys Does 'Breaking Bad' Have? Not Nearly Enough, If You Ask Me
In its five-season run, AMC's Breaking Bad has won a ton of Emmys... so far. Of course, the series' number doesn't include the results from the upcoming 66th Primetime Emmy Awards (it just includes its wins from 2008 to 2013 and its one win from the 2014 Creative Arts Emmys). And although the show's 11 wins might sound fine and dandy to a regular person, if you're a Breaking Bad fan, you might think that number is way too low and that the show should have definitely received 42 Emmys from 2008 to 2013 (basically, it should have won in every category it was nominated for, and, no, I don't think that's taking things too far). However, voters seemed to think that other shows and actors should be considered as well. Hmph.
Grudges aside, what Emmys has the meth-inspired show actually managed to snatch up in past years? Take a look at its 11 shiny, gold awards.

2008: Bryan Cranston, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama
Starting off with a bang, Cranston brought one of the night’s top prizes home for wow-ing voters with his performance as Walter White in the show’s pilot.

'08 & '09: Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing
Lynne Willingham scooped up two editing awards at the Creative Arts Emmys — one for the pilot and one for Season 2’s “ABQ.”

2009: Bryan Cranston, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama
Proving that his win for Season 1 wasn’t a fluke, the actor once again took home the statue for his portrayal of the sinister master of meth.
2010: Aaron Paul, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama
By 2010, voters got some sense knocked into them and gave the award to the show’s second leading man.

Freakin’ finally. That’s all I have to say. It’s a shame that it took voters until 2013 to realize what an intensely artful show they had on their hands. You go, Vince Gilligan!
2014: Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama
Skip MacDonald picked up an editing award for Breaking Bad at the 2014 Creative Arts Emmys. Fingers crossed that the show’s early win is a sign that more golden statues are on their way.
