J.Crew is a brand that is adored by the masses because they've managed to achieve a perfect balance between style, quality, and affordability that almost no other big-name fashion store has been able to find. Oh, and they debut their collections at NYFW, which makes them seem that much cooler. Jenna Lyons, J.Crew creative director, spoke about the spring 2015 collection with Elle is all about "proportions" and is "less glitzy" than collections of the past.
Glitzy or not, everyone seems to love J.Crew. And how can you not? It's chic, well made clothing and accessories that are actually attainable. A girl can't complain. Here's a round-up of some of the best looks from the new collection.
This look shows just what Lyons meant about proportions being key in this collection.
Can’t go wrong with a cerulean blue and black-and-white stripes combination.
J.Crew doing high fashion at it’s finest. This shirt is to die for.
Let’s talk about the model’s lipstick for a second. On. Point.
Lyons said the collection wasn’t AS glitzy as collections of the past, but there’s always room for a little sparkle, obviously.
Everything about this pattern and color combination is wonderful.
This shirt was my favorite piece of the collection, hands down.
Anyone want it to be spring so you can wear this ensemble ASAP? Yup, me too.
This coat speaks for itself, I think.
I feel like this is 100 percent something that Jenna Lyons would wear. Therefore, it is awesome.
A new take on stripes.
Everything in this look works, from head to toe. Perfect proportions.
Every collection needs a hat moment.
J.Crew is perfectly on trend with this metallic clutch that I now NEED in my life.
Spring layering done right.
