They're Still Sharing Big Life Moments

by Nicole Fabian-Weber

There's something weirdly comforting about the friendship between Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox. Anyone else with me on that? The two have been friends since, well, their Friends days, and their relationship has always seemed like the real deal. They look thick as thieves, as they say. They're just two uber-rich, health-conscious ladies who like to frolic along the beaches of Malibu and get engaged at one another's homes. Oh, you didn't know that? That's right, Cox actually got engaged at Aniston's home at a dinner party for her 10-year-old daughter, Coco. And that's double right! Aniston throws dinner parties for her friends' kids! These ladies are delightful!

On Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel, Cox relayed the story of how her fiancé, Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid, popped the question. Apparently, McDaid asked Cox's daughter for permission first, and she was so excited that she wanted him to do it that night at Aniston's home — so he did! Coco and McDaid came up with a plan to both get down on one knee at the count of three and say, "Will you marry me/him?" Things, alas, didn't go that way, because, you know, 10-year-olds.

But how adorable is that Rachel Green was there for Monica Geller's engagement?! Love that. BFFs for life.
