Doing Paris like Queen Bey & Jay

by Maitri Suhas

Jay and Bey like to dispel rumors with actions rather than words, and those "divorce" whisperings seem even sillier now that Jay Z and Beyoncé have been spotted in Paris allegedly shopping for a new abode. Fresh off the heels of their marathon On the Run Tour, our faves were seen looking at homes on Tuesday 'round about the Élysée Palace. Paris, the city of lights, romance, fashion, and utter opulence is definitely the perfect place for the power couple — they're all but royalty. (OK, let's be real, they ARE royalty). It's no wonder, then, that they're looking to add a Parisian pied-à-terre to their already impressive roster of real estate. Blue Ivy needs a beautiful city to grow up in, after all. She’s the chicest little baby on the block and only a chic city will do.

The Knowles-Carters are hella busy, that’s a fact, but they still gotta find some leisure time for family bonding. So what sites in Paris would they patronize? Obviously the French capital abounds with treasures of all sorts, and no doubt Jay, Bey, and Blue would find their way around the city and become resident royalty immediately. Here’s some guesses as to what they might take in first in their Movable Feast:

"You are now watching the throne"

Where better for modern royalty to spend their time than the most opulent and grandiose palace of all time? Queen Bey belongs nowhere else besides Versailles.

"What's Louis, my killa?"

Gotta get some fresh new duds from fresh French arbiter of couture, Louis Vuitton.

"Le Meurice for like six days"

Only the sickest and most lavish hotel in Paris, Le Meurice, will do for Jay and Bey to hang at.

"Love on Top"

They're already on top of the world, so Bey, Jay, and Blue would definitely visit the top of the Eiffel Tower to survey their new kingdom.

"Picasso Baby"

They'd probably hit up the Picasso Museum so they could find some new art for their casa. Only the best for the King and Queen.
