We Forgive Her for That Awkward Yellow Turban

by Erin Mayer

When Christina Hendricks hits the red carpet, the results are quite often breathtaking. I mean, she's gorgeous, with that pale complexion and the flaming red hair and all. But her latest look was a head-scratcher, to say the least. Christina Hendricks wore a yellow turban to the 6th-annual Club Tacori event this week and it was really, really odd.

The Mad Men actress opted for a safe but nice ensemble comprised of a polished ivory button-down blouse tucked into high-waisted black trousers, pointed black pumps, and a metallic clutch. She amped things up on the accessories front with some emerald and gold Tacori earrings that wonderfully complemented her coloring. And then there was that turban, designed by Stephen Jones. Did I mention that it was yellow satin? Worse than that, the hat drooped off the side of her head like a really sloppy fitted bed sheet.

I’ve gotten very into turbans recently!" the actress told InStyle. "I’ve liked them for a long time, and I feel like they’re making a comeback so they’re easier to find. I’m picking them up whenever I can find them." Honestly, the hat is sort of silly, but I commend Hendricks for mixing it up and wearing something decidedly un-boring. She's so gorgeous that she can really get away with almost anything sartorially.

So what do you think? Is Hendrick's turban-style hat a hit or a miss?
