Scarlett Johansson's Engaged to Some French Guy

If you have eyes that are routinely trained in the direction of fashion blogs, you probably noticed that yesterday Scarlett Johansson looked really freaking good at the Venice Film Festival (picture above). The fact that she's still drop-dead gorgeous is by far not the biggest news in the star's life right now, though: That'd be that Scarlett Johansson's engaged.

Johansson, who's currently making promotion rounds for her upcoming films Don Jon and Under Her Skin, has been engaged to boyfriend Romain Dauriac for about a month. News of the engagement spread when Johansson was spotted running around with her vintage Art Deco engagement ring on a certain finger.

Dauriac is either a journalist or works in a French creative agency, depending on which news source you look at. The pair have been dating a little under a year (10 months to be exact), and considering Johansson's love of personal privacy we probably won't be hearing much about wedding dates or locations any time soon.

This will be Johansson's second marriage; she and Ryan Reynolds were married for two years from 2008 to 2010. Johansson was nominated for an Academy Award last year for her original song "Before My Time."
