A Fashion Show On The Eiffel Tower? Yes Please!

by Jamie Cuccinelli

What goes better with fashion than Paris, France? Answer: Nothing, so I’m kinda wondering why it took so long for someone to stick a fashion show on top of the Eiffel Tower… And what is more symbolic of the city of lights than the Eiffel Tower? Events manager and model Jessica Minh Anh has snagged some pretty impressive international designers to showcase their wears on top of the one of the world’s more iconic monuments and I honestly can’t think of anything cooler.

The innovative, sky-high fashion show was streamed Friday afternoon on Ahn’s website and the crazy gorgeous photos are seriously making me regret not being a six-foot tall, pouty-faced model just so I could strut my stuff on top of the freakin’ Eiffel tower. Over 100 beautiful pieces of couture and ready-to-wear garments for the fall and winter season overlooked the glittering streets of Paris, fashioned by designers like Hoang Hai hailing from Vietnam, and American designer, Kate Walz, and Beinta Poulsen of Soul Made in the Faroe Islands.

The two-tiered catwalk spans over an extraordinary 490 feet of the tower and it’s awesome. Check out the pics below and tell me seriously, how could no one have thought of this before?!
