You Can Shop Cara And Kim’s Closets Soon

by Alexa Tucker

Get your highest-limit credit cards ready, online consignment shoppers, because Vestiaire Collective is auctioning off items from some of your favorite celeb's closets in approximately two days, 15 hours and 14 minutes (the site has a handy little countdown widget for your convenience, because as far as I'm concerned, counting is math, and I can't math.) Among the items that'll be up for bid: A mixed media houndstooth and leather coat from Rachel Zoe, a classic Kim Kardashian Balenciaga LBD, and Mulberry's Mini Cara Delevingne Bag from the wardrobe of the supermodel herself. Quick-clicking practice starts... now.

The StyleCycle auction, which was created in part to mark Vestiaire Collective's fifth birthday, is aimed at furthering sustainable style practices by encouraging women to "recycle" the high-end pieces in their wardrobes rather than letting them sit in their closet after their primes have passed. So basically, it's not shopping, it's trading, right? I've never lived in a sorority house, but I imagine this initiative is kind of like getting to switch clothes around with a giant group of girls, except if all of them had super-swank collections and your sisters included Suki Waterhouse, Tamara Mellon and Claudia Schiffer. (If this sorority exists somewhere, I want in.)

Plus, the bidding is for a good cause: the proceeds from each item will go to the charity of the donator's choice. Kardashian selected Dream Foundation, Delevingne chose Starlight Children's Foundation, and Waterhouse tapped Kids' Company.
