Kenya Moore & Porscha Stewart Are Still Feuding

by Kayla Hawkins

It wasn't clear whether or not all of The Real Housewives of Atlanta would be back after Kenya and Porsha got into a fight during the RHOA Season 6 reunion. Anyone who was watching could confirm that Kenya completely coerced Porsha into attacking her, but Porsha was still the one who crossed the line and made things physical. Naturally, Kenya exercised her rights zealously and brought up Porsha on assault charges. However, even though it turned into a legal battle, with both women trying to nab a conviction for assault from the other, they'll both be returning to non-physically fighting each week on RHOA Season 7.

They had a spotty history before that, too. Ever since things started to sour between Kenya and almost everyone halfway through Season 5, the two have been at one another's throats intermittently. Things got particularly heated after the whole Donkey Booty/Stallion Booty controversy, when Kenya perceived Porsha was picking Phaedra over her. What followed was a lunch that never even got ordered, a fight that wasn't really about either of them, and an insult that's even better when delivered by two former RuPaul's Drag Race contestants.

The two clashed again over Kenya's weird Season 5 finale costume party, where she assigned every guest what outfit to wear. While most of the ladies were assigned characters like Diana Ross in Mahogany or Angela Basset in What's Love Got to Do with It, Porsha was told to show up as Halle Berry in B*A*P*S , a terrible character with gold teeth and pleather jumpsuits from an all-out offensive movie that spits in the face of the "strong black women in cinema" theme that Kenya was planning. And when Porsha showed up dressed as Halle Berry in Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, Kenya actually went as far as to kick her out of the party.

Kenya has always considered Porsha "dumb". (Sure, she is known to put her foot in her mouth, but she's a pretty savvy Housewife so far.) For all of Season 6, Kenya did nothing but roast Porsha during her talking head segments. Now that we're heading into Season 7, Porsha has been demoted to "friend of" the Housewives, while Kenya's still a main cast member. I can easily imagine Kenya refusing to appear in the same location as Porsha, or carting around a bodyguard, or pulling up a restraining order — anything over-the-top and embarrassing, Kenya is the first to sign up for.

There's no doubt that whatever happens this season, Kenya and Porsha will not be getting along.
