Shailene Woodley Slays On GQ's Cover

by Alexa Tucker

It's official: even though I always had some crazy hair envy over Shailene Woodley's long, luxurious locks, I'm now fully on board with the short hair. On one of the covers of GQ's latest issue, Shai looks incredible with her slick 'do, not to mention her gorgeous bronze smoky eye and power woman blazer. BRB, just going to get my hair chopped off.

OK, I'm back. So maybe I didn't actually lose my shoulder-length hair in the last 30 seconds, but I am strongly considering it. It may slightly resemble a miniature afro if I were to cut it super-short, so maybe not, but Shai almost has me reaching for the kitchen scissors. (Just kidding. Learned my lesson with that one...)

It looks especially amazing with her stunning eye makeup — from the looks of it, the lower lashline is lined with a bronze smokey shadow matching her upper lids, and there's a bold but well-blended black liner that tapers off towards the inner corners of her eyes. And do I spy a hint of a cat eye? The rest of her makeup is simple, letting her eyes shine. Definitely trying out this look ASAP.

Her appearance isn't the only amazing thing about this shoot, though. Shailene is on one of the six cover stars for GQ 's Men of the Year issue. Key word: men. She's just that cool. Her The Fault In Our Stars and Divergent trilogy costar Ansel Elgort shares the honor with her, along with Chris Pratt, Dave Chappelle, Michael Sam, and Steve Carell. Not bad company to keep.

She's been dubbed the "crush of the year" by the men's mag, which is absolutely accurate — She's definitely my current girl crush.
