One of my favorite hobbies to torture myself is to look at celebrities and see how old they are. When I was in college, I played this game with poets and writers (did you know John Keats completed his entire body of work before he was 25?), and now that it's my job to consume everything pop culture, I'm like, who's done more than me at my age?! I know, I know, I'm a glutton for punishment. But I bet you are too, so here are 17 celebrities who are younger than you thought they were. But don't worry! Mindy Kaling, 35
The creator and star of The Mindy Project celebrated her 35th birthday earlier this summer, but she’s achieved leaps and bounds more in those three and a half decades than I could ever dream. She became the first female writer on The Office at only 24.
Ezra Miller, 22
Miller, who turned 22 in September, is wise beyond his years. Besides starring in films like Perks of Being a Wallflower and We Need to Talk About Kevin, Miller is also vocal about his sexuality and an LGBT advocate.
Sophie Turner, 18
That’s right, Sansa Stark just gained the power to vote in February 2014.

Endless babe Kate Upton, who first appeared in Sports Illustrated when she was just 19, turned 22 in June of 2014.

The ethereal Solange, who just murdered the wedding fashion game in her various white ensembles (CAPES 2015), is only 28, celebrating her birthday in Jamaica in June. AKA I only have three years to try and hone my cape game to be as good as Bey’s little sis.

Maybe because he’s done so much already (and we’re all so emotionally attached to him), it seems like DanRad should be older? But he just celebrated his 25th birthday this July. Fun fact: The Harry Potter star’s birthday is on July 23, and Harry Potter’s birthday himself is July 31.

Powerhouse Azealia Banks, who just dropped the phenomenal Broke With Expensive Taste, is a mere 23 years old, celebrating her birthday at the end of May.

I don’t know why this one is particularly shocking, but how is Keira Knightley only four years older than me?! She turned 29 in March of 2014. Meaning she was only 17 when she was in Bend It Like Beckham. And 18 when she started in the Pirates series. And in Love Actually. I have to stop this now.

K Dot has seen a huge amount of success and only turned 27 in June of this year. He’s already been on Saturday Night Live and performed at the Grammys, not to mention his masterpiece good kid

Another woman under 30 who makes me go, holy shit, she’s not even 30? Besides being universally regarded as one of the most beautiful women in the world, Johansson has worked with huge names like Woody Allen (twice) and is, of course, the amazing Black Widow in The Avengers series.
