8 Best "All I Want For Christmas Is You" Covers

by Alyse Whitney

It doesn't feel like the holiday season until your favorite Christmas song plays, and Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is my No. 1. Not only is it a great original tune, but Carey's vocals are insane, and you can bop around to it while in your warm apartment, on the cold walk to the subway, or even while stuck in a snow storm. (Dance parties can always keep you warm.) At this point, it's just as classic as "Blue Christmas" or "Baby, It's Cold Outside" in my eyes, and I keep it on repeat for most of December. And like many great Christmas songs, other artists have started putting their own spin on the holiday hit.

Over the years, many fantastic musicians have covered the tune, putting a fresh spin on "All I Want For Christmas Is You" that makes it feel brand new again. Although none of them hold a candle to the original, there are eight great renditions that could compose their own Carey cover album. But since that isn't a reality yet, check them out below, and feel free to chime in with your favorite. Warning: this will get stuck in your head forever. You're welcome.

Mariah Carey & Michael Bublé

She made it even better with Bublé.

Ariana Grande

Because, obviously. Mini Mariah was made to cover this song.

Demi Lovato

Lovato's voice has a fantastic raspy tone that gives this cover a great edge.

Idina Menzel

Her powerful voice is absolutely captivating.

Fifth Harmony

Sorry for the pun, but these harmonies are so killer.

Glee Cast

Mostly for Amber Riley.

Lady Antebellum

This slowed-down country version is a nice twist.

Mariah Carey, Jimmy Fallon & The Roots

Sorry, one more of Mariah, because these classroom instruments make it the best.
