Swift's Jingle Ball Dress Would Be Perfect for NYE

by Sienna Fantozzi

The focus may be on Christmas, but don't forget, there's another big holiday right around the corner. Taylor Swift performed at Jingle Ball on Friday, and her red carpet dress is all the inspiration you need for your New Year's Eve party.

For KIIS FM's 2014 Jingle Ball in Los Angeles, Swift wore a black and gold strapless dress to walk the red carpet, and it was all kinds of adorable. The Romona Keveza A-line cocktail dress was color-blocked, with a black silk bodice and gold brocade skirt, for a hint of fancy shmancy that would be perfect for a celebratory NYE bash. The "Blank Space" singer accessorized her dress with black ankle strapped heels and her signature cat-eye eyeliner, but no red lips this time. Tay kept her make-up fresh and dewy, which was all she needed to let that gold dress shine.

Though the singer switched into her signature crop-top/skirt combo (it had to make an appearance somewhere) to perform on stage, it was nice to see her switch up her red carpet style. The look lends itself just as easily to perfect and polished as it does to carefree and fun, and now I can't wait to see what she actually wears on NYE when she performs at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.
