Peter Addresses 'Vanderpump' Salary Gossip

by Kristie Rohwedder

The Vanderpumpers need more allowance, yodelay-hee-hoo! The cast of Bravo show Vanderpump Rules is reportedly unhappy with their salary situation. According to TMZ, every non-Lisa Vanderpump cast member on the hit reality program currently rakes in $5k per episode, and that isn't cutting it. (I assume Bravo pays Lisa Vanderpump in outfits for Giggy.) The cast allegedly wants first class plane tickets and more moolah per episode. TMZ recently asked Vanderpump star Peter Madrigal about the money drama, and the SUR manager was as diplomatic and amiable as can be. Classic Manager Peter! Oh, and! He imitated a sea creature.

“I make good money, so I think I’m fine. If everyone else wants to make more money, then I’ll just talk to my manager and he’ll help me get more money," Manager Peter says while standing next to a Christmas tree and a mound of hamster cage lining. He explains he doesn't travel by plane much, so he doesn't really care about the first class ticket issue.

“Oh, I definitely think we deserve a raise … Come Season 4, I think our pay should get bumped up a little bit.” The man behind the camera asks Peter if the rate should jump to $20k an episode. Peter laughs. “Eh, let’s not go that far. Let’s say $10k an episode.”

(My thoughts on the money matters: GIVE THEM WHATEVER THEY WANT, BRAVO! KEEP THIS SHOW GOING FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE! DO WHATEVER IT TAAAAAAAAKES!)

While they talk dollar amounts, Manager Peter stands with his feet apart and arms outstretched. He holds this pose. What's he doing? Uh, isn't it obvious? It's a terrific starfish impression.
