Kate Just Won a Big Award

Well, this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. Kate Upton was named Sexiest Woman Alive by People Magazine, which we all already knew, but now it's at least official.

At Thursday night's People Magazine Awards, Upton won the award, which was presented, to her by Grey's Anatomy's star Eric Dane (who isn't too bad himself, either). In her acceptance speech, the 22-year-old shared why the award meant something special to her. "This is such an honor to me because sexy to me means someone who's confident and happy," she said. Way to wrap up a great year for the blonde beauty, who starred in movie roles, fronted a Bobbi Brown ad campaign, and had a Sports Illustrated cover.

There's plenty of reasons why the model/actress is deserving of the title — she's gorgeous, her personality, she's actually funny, she's natural, and, I know what you're thinking — her insane body. And it's true, she does look incredible in a bikini, but let's give her some more credit here. Have you seen this girl work a red carpet? Because she's a total bombshell.
