Ariana Grande Traded Her Cat Ears For Snowflakes

by Alexa Tucker

Looks like Ariana Grande's movin' on up in the world. At Y100's Jingle Ball 2014 in Florida last night, Grande traded in her signature cat ears for something a little more festive — a pair of snowflakes. The singer paired the wintry headband with fluffy wrist cuffs, because she had to get a cat reference in somewhere, duh.

Grande wore a black lace bodysuit and shiny bustle with a pair of thigh-high boots for the performance, and once again found the perfect balance between channeling both ultimate cuteness and va-va-voom sex appeal. Seriously, the girl's got the best of both worlds going on. Her go-to half-up hairstyle and headbands keep her looks fun, while her costumes themselves are always super sexy. Her makeup game was on-point last night as usual, too — along with her long, flirty lashes, Grande went for a shimmery gold eye and subtle berry lipstick.

Sure, Grande tends to stick to one type of stage look, but why mess with what works? She always looks incredible, and if it makes her feel confident, I say go for it. I just hope she keeps it up long enough for me to wear the look for Halloween next year, because even though I'm eight inches taller than her and my singing voice has never been compared to Mariah Carey's, this seems like it'd be super fun to wear.

Check out Grande's new hair accessory — what do you think is next? Reindeer antlers for one last pre-Christmas appearance? Sparklers for New Year's Eve? Groundhogs for Groundhog Day? (I really can't explain how thrilled I'd be if she went for that.)
