You'll Want to Copy J. Law's Airport Style

by Erin Mayer

My travel plans this holiday season are no more complicated than a few quick train rides out to Long Island and so I'm not exactly worrying about what to wear for maximum comfort while heading home. If I were to be hitting lots of planes, trains, and automobiles this week, however, I'd consider taking a page from J. Law's book. According to Refinery 29, Jennifer Lawrence's latest airport outfit was a huge winner.

The Mockingjay actress was spotted arriving at the JFK airport in New York wearing super chic floral Pam & Gela sweats and a grey moto jacket with an oversized shearling collar — perfect for resting your cheek on during an in-flight nap — layered over a black sweater. Lawrence accessorized (who has the energy to accessorize for air travel???) with leopard print calf hair moccasins by Isabel Marant, a large hat, black sunnies, a small silver necklace, and a studded bag. By mixing textures and prints, she ensured her outfit was interesting enough for the paparazzi to snap but cozy enough for a several hour stretch of sitting in first class.

If you're doing a lot of traveling over the next few weeks, allow Katniss Everdeen's real-life counterpart to be your fashion spirit guide. One of the worst parts of long plane/car/train trips is how easily you can turn into a greasy sloth in wrinkled clothing if you don't plan correctly. Luckily, we have J. Law to show us how to arrive at our respective destinations in high style.
