Netflix Revealed Its Upcoming Schedule

by Alanna Bennett

It's been a little while since Netflix made us all collectively freak out over the release of a new show, but don't fret: The streaming service would like you know it'll have us in a tizzy again soon enough. Netflix revealed its original series schedule for the foreseeable future. From the Tina Fey-produced Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to Marvel's Daredevil , it's definitely a roster with a lot of potential for excitement.

Netflix has had remarkably good luck with original programming so far. Not all of them have been at the same level of buzz as, say, Orange Is the New Black and House Of Cards, but those two have been pretty big critical hits and wedged themselves pretty firmly into the zeitgeist. Looking forward Netflix has three Marvel shows, a show from Tina Fey, and one from Judd Apatow — and that's just a slice of what they've got lined up — so regardless of how they're ultimately received, they're not relinquishing their buzz quite yet.

So when can you expect to enter a new arena of Netflix obsession? Here's when your potential new faves are premiering. I've bolded the ones I think will be taking up the most space in the pop cultural conversation around their premieres:

  • The Adventures Of Puss In Boots, Jan. 16
  • Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, March 6
  • Bloodline, March 20
  • Marvel's Daredevil, April 10
  • Grace & Frankie, May 8
  • Sense8, "later this year."
  • Narcos, "later this year."

And in returning shows:

  • The Fall, Jan. 16
  • House Of Cards, Feb. 27
  • Orange Is the New Black, Summer (exact date still vague, but last season premiered June 6.)
