When Is 'Transparent' Season 2? Amazon's Comedy Needs To Bring Us More Great Moments ASAP

Amazon Prime is somewhat new to the TV world, when it comes to streaming their own shows that is, but that doesn't mean the online source we love to shop on isn't succeeding with its original content. For example, let's take the comedy Transparent starring Jeffrey Tambor as Mort transitioning into Maura Pfefferman. The content, the cast, and the characters have pushed the boundaries in more ways than one. It's found a huge audience, which means, yes, Transparent will be back for Season 2. In October 2014, it was announced that the series scored a renewal. Not only did it not come as a surprise to fans, viewers, and critics alike, but it also made many people very, very happy to know they'd be seeing more from the show that's produced nothing but praise. [UPDATE: Deadline reports that Transparent will return Dec. 11.]

With that said, when will Transparent return? Well, new episodes will be put online sometime in 2015. No further details have been announced. Until then, we can enjoy seeing the cast at Sunday's 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, because it received not one, but TWO nominations. It landed itself a spot in the Best TV Series, Musical or Comedy category and Tambor found himself in the running for Best Actor, TV Series Comedy or Musical. How fantastic is that?

Now, let's take some time to reflect on Season 1 by checking out a few of the top quotes from Maura herself, because it's a great way to honor the show and the amazing actor Tambor is and the brave character he plays.
