Even people who do not care about award shows are excited to watch the Golden Globes tonight. Why? Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, of course. They are just about the funniest people alive and I always want to see more of them. I know I am not alone with this. And now we can all rejoice because the trailer for their upcoming movie Sisters was just released. It's only 20 seconds long, but it was 20 seconds of pure joy and fun.
Other than Poehler and Fey playing sisters, the trailer doesn't exactly indicate any plot points. But the lack of context actually makes me even more intrigued. I have a feeling there will be an extended trailer revealed during the Golden Globe Awards commercials tonight — or at least I hope that's what happens.
I did some IMDb investigation and got a little bit more information. Emphasis on little, but it's still something and I am still very much interested. The movie plot is described as: "Two sisters decide to throw one last house party before their parents sell their family home." This makes me want to party with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Not that I didn't want to already. I am also interested in the supporting cast of this movie. The IMDb list of actors include Maya Rudolph, John Leguizamo.... and wrestler John Cena? How odd, yet again I am so interested. Check out the trailer for yourself and join me in the excitement.
