Kate Bosworth Chopped Off Her Hair

The lob ain't going anywhere in 2015. The latest celeb to adopt the wash 'n' go chop that dominated 2014? Kate Bosworth got a lob and the actress went with the trendy cut not because it's cool but for work. Bosworth noted that she hacked off her hair for upcoming role in 90 Minutes in Heaven.

Bosworth has usually worn her locks long and golden, except when she dyed them a chocolate-y (and frankly sorta boring), shade for her role as Lois Lane in one of the Superman reboots. Her texture is somewhat fine and usually glossy, either blown straight or with some turnt up waves tossed in here and there on red carpets. But this lob has a shaggy and piecey texture, which adds volume and the illusion of thickness, since there's no length weighing it down.

The verdict? Bosworth looks classic and stunning with her new short 'do. Even after she wraps filming for her role, she should totally keep this length since it is so flattering with her face shape and her texture. |

Bosworth's lob proves that the lob isn't really a "trendy" cut anymore, but rather on its way to becoming a new classic. It's such a versatile and wearable 'do — far easier to commit to than a full-on pixie.

The cut instantly takes Bosworth from cute to womanly. And let's look back at some of Bosworth's most memorable hairstyles now, shall we?

Her slicked back, messy, and high pony was chic. It also worked with the asymmetrical cutout and the curve of her spine.
